Purchasing Planet.com is aimed to facilitate contact between sellers and professional buyers and to support the negotiation process in order to secure great deals with only a few quick and easy steps. Purchasing Planet.comallows professional buyers to automatically have their request sent to selected suppliers for quote. The quote package will be analyzed automatically and best options sent back to the buyer. Buyers can select to send their RFQ automatically either to all Purchasing Planet selected vendors or only to their own vendors. Start Here for Buyers! . Purchasing Planet.comgives sellers an  easy access to a diversified customer base beyond their traditional customer base. Vendors simply need to register themselves with a product category they want to receive RFQ (Request For Quotation) for.  Start Here for Vendors Process description Using Purchasing Planet to support your professional business needs is quick and easy. Here are the few steps we follow to process your request and help you reach a successful business deal.   Vendor Registration Each Vendor willing to participate will register in Purchasing Planet vendor list. Registration is free of charge. The only obligation for the Vendor is to commit to follow a few simple professional rules to guaranty the quality of the service. Purchasing Planet will potentially give a rating to the vendor based on performance feedback from buyers. Purchasing Planet will also be free to remove any vendor from our Vendor list in case such vendor do not follow normal professional rules. The higher the rating is, the most likely a vendor will receive RFQ.  Buyer registration and Request for Quotation (RFQ.) submission Each buyer will register and give details about its RFQ. by filling out a simple form. The buyer will fill in one RFQ. form per type of product. Registration and quote submission are free of charge. The buyer will select some RFQ options to help us better identify which Vendor to contact. The buyer will also decide whether he wants to send RFQ to Purchasing Planet vendors only or to his own vendors or both.  Selection of potential vendors for each Buyer RFQ. Purchasing Planet engine will automatically select vendors which might be able to serve the buyer's need the best, based on but not limited to the following parameters: product category, location, volume, Quality certification...    Dispatch of the Buyer RFQ. to selected vendors Purchasing Planet will forward Buyer's RFQ. to the selected vendors and ask for a quotation. At that time, the Vendor might receive some information about the Buyer (type of company...) but does not know the name of the Buyer nor his company.  Vendor Quote Feedback After receiving a RFQ., each vendor interested will fill in a Quote form. This form will be considered as a legal quote. The Quote has to be sent back within the lead time required by the Buyer (typically 2 to 7 days).   Quote preselection and Summary Report. Purchasing Planet will analyze the quotes from different vendors and offer a Quote Summary Report to the Buyer. The Quote Summary Report gives a summary of the prices and term offered. At that time, the vendors are also given the name of the buyer and his company and are free to contact the buyer directly.   Now the savings are yours!  Then, Buyer and Vendor will directly contact each other to confirm the RFQ. and quotes. Any Purchase Order will be placed directly by the Buyer to the Vendor. The Vendor will then invoice the Buyer accordingly.  Live Statistics - coming soon . In order to improve the Vendor chance to win a deal and to improve the Quotes given to a buyer, any Vendor can subscribe to our Live Quote Statistic program. After they have submitted a Quote, such Vendors can access our database anytime during the RFQ. process to find out where their quote stands compared to other vendors.
